What is it

Trichoscopy is a non-invasive, professional examination of the hair and scalp, performed with the use of a special device - a trichoscope, at 50 - 200 times magnification. The microscopic image allows you to assess the condition of the hair follicles, determine the type of scalp and the presence of dermatological diseases. It also allows you to assess the thickness of the hair and damage to the hair shaft. The test allows for a detailed analysis of the condition of the scalp and hair, taking into account the hair growth phases. Detailed analysis allows you to plan comprehensive therapy and track the progress of treatment.

  • excessive hair loss of various origins
  • brittleness and thinning of hair
  • scalp diseases: dandruff, psoriasis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, itching, scalp inflammation

How to prepare for the test

It is best not to wash your hair 2-3 days before the examination and not to perform hairdressing treatments within 3 weeks before the visit.
