Scalp needle mesotherapy

Scalp needle mesotherapy

What is it

Needle mesotherapy is a modern, minimally invasive and safe way to nourish and stimulate hair follicles and to prevent skin aging processes, stimulate skin cells to maintain proper metabolism, and to treat stretch marks. Mesotherapy is used both for prophylactic purposes and in the treatment of existing lesions. The essence of treatment is the introduction of the appropriate substance through a series of shallow, superficial punctures.
Various active substances are used for mesotherapy: hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids and peptides, trace elements such as silicon. The appropriate preparation is selected depending on the problem.

Indications

Hair loss and poor condition of the hair.

How it works

Intensively moisturizes the skin and supports cellular metabolism, inhibiting the production of free radicals responsible for the skin aging process. Cocktails prepared for scalp mesotherapy primarily stimulate microcirculation, strengthen and protect the structure of capillaries, stimulate hair growth, nourish and protect the tissues surrounding the hair root from drying out. In addition, the treatment stimulates the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin.

Effects

Scalp mesotherapy combines moisturizing, stimulating and nourishing the hair structure. Hair is stimulated to grow, it becomes stronger and more vital, it becomes thick and shiny. In addition, it is protected against drying out and thus against dandruff.

Is mesotherapy painful

Before the procedure (for about 1 hour), a skin anesthetic cream can be used, then the procedure is almost painless. A thin needle and a fast pace of administration of the preparation additionally reduce the pain.

How often is the procedure performed

Treatments should be performed in several series (3-5 times), every 2-4 weeks, then the effect is the best and lasts a long time. The procedure takes about half an hour.

Recommendations after injection

Directly after the injection, up to 12 hours after the procedure, the area under the procedure should not be warmed up (sun, solarium) or strongly cooled. You should also not wash your head on this day. Keep at least a 2-week interval between the next aesthetic or cosmetic treatment (including massage). It should be remembered that the full series of treatments gives the best effect.

Side Effects

Immediately after injection, there are "lumps" that are quickly absorbed (up to 1 hour). Very rare local reactions at the site of application have been reported. Most of them are symptoms of moderate severity, the most common are pain and slight swelling at the injection site. Thickening may appear. These ailments are temporary and short-lived.

Contraindications

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, skin and inflammatory infections, e.g. acne, severe allergy, especially to HA, recurrent streptococcal infections (angina, articular rheumatism), immunity disorders, tendency to colloids (keloids). In addition, severe heart rhythm disturbances, epilepsy, porphyria and taking drugs that inhibit liver metabolism (cimetidine, B blockers). Anticoagulant therapy, aspirin, vitamin C increase the risk of hematomas, so it is recommended to discontinue them, if possible, 1-2 weeks before the planned mesotherapy.
