Baby Glow
What is it?
This treatment involves the use of a combination of a tissue stimulator and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. It acts as a booster that effectively improves skin quality. It does not alter facial features or add volume; instead, it restores the skin's natural density and elasticity. Its primary function is to replenish moisture and elasticity.
Indications
The treatment is suitable for both younger skin (as a preventive measure) and mature skin. It addresses issues such as loss of moisture and elasticity, a tired complexion, discoloration, early wrinkles, loss of radiance and firmness, and enlarged pores. It is ideal when intensive skin revitalization and refreshing are needed.
Procedure
Performed using an advanced needle technique and specially selected products, the treatment improves skin condition, hydration, and smoothness. It takes approximately 20 minutes (plus time for prior topical anesthesia). Thanks to the lidocaine contained in the product, the procedure is virtually painless. There is no recovery period; you can return to your daily activities immediately.
Effects
The treatment offers numerous benefits: an immediate "WOW" and "GLOW" effect—radiance and luminosity—along with biostimulation and skin regeneration, resulting in improved firmness and density. The skin regains its glow and becomes intensely hydrated, smoother, softer, and more even-toned. In addition, it is firmer and more elastic, fresh and rested.
Post-treatment recommendations
Do not apply makeup or engage in strenuous physical activity for 24 hours. Avoid saunas, swimming pools, jacuzzis, and hot baths for 7 days. Also, avoid sun exposure and use an SPF 50 sunscreen. Do not use products containing acids or retinol, nor exfoliating scrubs, until the skin has fully healed (usually 5–7 days). Use gentle moisturizing and regenerating products for a few days, as recommended. Drink plenty of water to support skin hydration.
Side effects
Most common (usually resolving within 1–3 days): skin redness, mild swelling, a burning or tight sensation, increased sensitivity to touch, tiny puncture marks, and slight skin peeling. Less common: bruising and prolonged redness.
Contraindications
Absolute contraindications: active skin infections (bacterial, viral—e.g., herpes—or fungal); skin inflammation at the treatment site; open wounds, abrasions, or burns; active, severe acne with numerous inflammatory lesions; allergy to ingredients in the product used during the treatment; cancer (especially during active treatment—consult a doctor); blood clotting disorders; use of anticoagulants (requires individual assessment); and a tendency to develop keloids. Also: pregnancy and breastfeeding, use of certain medications, autoimmune diseases (require individual assessment), a fresh tan, and recent intensive exfoliating treatments (e.g., chemical peels or laser therapy).
