What is it

Excessive activity of the masseter muscles - may cause abrasion and destruction of teeth, increase in tooth mobility, changes in the temporomandibular joints, masseter muscle hypertrophy, thickening of the cheek mucosa, earache, headache, neck pain, and even back pain.

The most common causes of bruxism are:

malocclusion and temporomandibular joint defects, and excessive stress. The result is uncontrolled teeth grinding and clenching, especially at night. Please note that the procedure is a long-term treatment.
