Chin Skin

Chin Skin

The most common aesthetic problems

  • the so-called "Cat's heads"
  • small, receding chin
  • excess fat on the chin, the so-called gill

The reasons

Unevenness and depressions that appear on the chin while speaking, the so-called "cat's heads" are caused by the increased activity of the chin muscle. Also called the mental muscle, it "attaches" to the lower jaw and raises the tongue. It is an inconspicuous muscle of the face, which however focuses many emotions. With age, the lower jaw retracts and the tip of the chin rises, creating a vertical wrinkle called the "witch's beard".

A receding lower jaw with a small chin disturbs the harmony of the face. Most often it is genetically determined or the result of an incorrect bite.

The so-called second chin is also most often the result of our genes and hormones. It is resistant to diet and exercise.

Proper chin correction restores the correct proportions of the face. The right amount of botulinum toxin inhibits the excessive activity of the muscle, thanks to which the beard smoothes and recovers more delicate features. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid, administered in the form of single injections or with a cannula, allows for sculpting the area of the chin and jaw (slimming, elongation)
